It’s no secret that as a society we spend WAY too much time sitting on our butts. We sit down to drive our cars, we sit down to eat our meals, we sit down to watch tv, and most of us even sit down all day at work!

The point is, we weren’t meant to sit so much! One of the problems that comes from this is chronic tightness and lack of mobility in the hip joint, especially in the psoas and rectus femoris muscles in the front of the joint.

This is an amazing stretch to do before a workout to increase mobility through the hip joint, especially if you plan on squatting or deadlifting.
